Riad Kalila guest house offers guests the opportunity to pass from Europe into the North African world in an atmosphere of comfort and refinement. Upon entering through the door of the Riad Kalila, visitors find themselves within a light and spacious garden and courtyard complete with fountain, a feature typical of many of the finest traditional Arab and North African homes and palaces. Visitors will quickly find that those features lend the interior an atmosphere so calm and peaceful that it is easy to forget that the hustle and bustle of an exciting city is just outside.
Access to each of the guests' bedrooms is through the central courtyard. Each bedroom presents our guests with a unique example of traditional local designs and techniques, such as "tadelakt", a form of coloured limestone and "bejmats", a type of fired earth plasterwork produced and sculpted in Fez.
Each bedroom is en suite and includes its own living space, air conditioning and heating. Visitors looking for an extra area to relax may enjoy one of the two lounges. To make our guests' stay even more enjoyable we provide internet access, television (with cable TV) and guides and information about Marrakesh and the rest of Morocco.
Guests will also be able to enjoy the beautiful terrace from where they can contemplate the surrounding medina, the snow-capped summit of Mount Atlas, the "Koutoubia" and the Dar El Bacha palace and its gardens. The house offers excellent breakfasts (orange juice, Moroccan crepes, honey, jam, fruits of the season homemade yogurts, tea and coffee) as well as a choice selection of lunches and dinners all prepared by our chef.
Visitors may also enjoy our "hammam Beldi" or Arab bathhouse complete with black soap, "henna" and "rassoul" or indulge themselves with a massage of Jasmine and rose essential oils.
Situated in Mouassine in the very centre of the old "Medina" and just two minutes away from the famous market place of Jema El Fna, the Riad Kalila is an ideal starting point on your visit to the historical monuments and places of interest in and around Marrakesh: The Tombs of Saadin, The Bahia Palace, The Koutoubia Minarets, The Ben Yousef Medersa and the Marrakesh Museum. Its central location also makes it perfect for the visitor who simply wants to enjoy wondering through the Medina, its "souks" (markets) and wonderful gardens.

The Riad is composed of 4 double rooms, two of those can host 2 more people, 10 people in all, the price include breakfast, transfer luggage on arrival and personel. The whole riad starting from 180 euro per night on the base of 9 people, 195 euro per night on the base of 10 people.
