General Information |
This house was once the home of a notary from Essaouira. It has been lovingly and authentically restored by the owners – Brigitte and Michel Gandin. It retains all the charm of an old medina house but has been decorated with great taste.
The house can be rented in it's entirety, or on a room by room basis. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in the patio. Lunch and dinner are served in the living room or the dining room.

190 kms west from Marrakech lays Essaouira, the white town.
Completely drawn on paper before beeing constructed Essaouira has grown around its tiny medina, in wich you will find many high quality crafts.
By crossing the main square, you will find yourself in the port, this is the right place if you love seafood and crabs. Just sit down in one of the many kiosks and enjoy the food beeing cooked in front of you.
Essaouira is becoming very famous among the surfers worldwide, due to its constant microclima, and the good wind conditions allover the year.
As well the Gnawa Musical Festival contributed a lot to built the fame of this beautiful little town, Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens used to spend a lot of time here playing music.
